Medicines used in the families of the fourth and fifth earls of Northumberland:

  1. (fol. 8) by lady Northumberland at Lekynfeld, 10 Hen. VIII.;
  2. (fol. 38b) by Henry, son and heir of the fifth earl, 23 Hen. VII.;
  3. (fol. 55) by the cupbearer of the earl, struck at the jousts at Greenwich, circa 27 Hen VII.;
  4. (fol. 59b) receipt of a "connyng doctor" in the earl's house;
  5. (fol. 62) cure of the earl's secretary, M. Newton, 1512, by a receipt "shewid hym by one Weston of Wath parke, a litill from Malton in Ridaille, whom God pardon;"
  6. (fol. 63) notice of the 4th earl, slain at Thirsk in 1489.
