A defence by Uthredus de Boldon, monk of Durham, of various articles by him denounced as heresy by the Franciscans in the 14th century. Unfortunately the roll is much damaged by the use of galls and by damp, so that the greater part is almost illegible. It seems that another roll is wanting, as the present one begins in the middle of a sentence.
