The arms for the most part are painted in their proper colours, but some are in trick, and a few simply in blazon. On the cover is the following note respecting this portion of the contents of the volume, signed by Dr. Rawlinson but not written by him: "A visitation of Kent by J. Philpot, Somerset Herald, 1620. Mr. Huggett of Eton gives this account of it. Aug. 10. R. R."
