Copy of letters patent of Charles I. granting Long Island in America to sir Edmund Plowden and others, constituting it a province under the name of New Albion, as a dependency of the kingdom of Ireland, and appointing Plowden governor thereof, with the dignity and authority of earl palatine; Dublin, bulk: 21 Jun 1634
To this are appended copies of the opinions of several lawyers in favour of sir E. Plowden's claim to be regarded in consequence as a peer of Ireland, and of a certificate by Edw.
