The original drawings from which the two plans of Oxford in Vol. I of Clark's edition of Antony Wood's History of the City of Oxford (1889) were reproduced in the same size by photolithography. They were made by Herbert Hurst under mr. Clark's direction, and consist of a large scale diagram of the city proper, showing the ancient halls; and a plan on a smaller scale, taking in the city with its outlying districts, as they were in mediaeval times, with insets.

Additions: Miscellaneous maps and plans, including:

  1. Fol. 3. copy of the Tithe Office map of St. Aldate's parish, Oxford, 1884
  2. Fol. 4. map of Mays Farm in Nuffield and Benson by Richard and John Whiting, 17th cent., scale 1:3, 960
  3. Fol. 5. map of Sturt Down Farm in Signet, early 19th cent.
