Specimens of Gough's poetry, from originals in this volume, are printed in Nichols' Literary Anecdotes, vi. 332-43.

In the Buckley sale, April 20, 1894, these volumes were lot 1768: and at a miscellaneous sale at Sotheby's, Feb. 11, 1898, lot 146, when they were bought by the Bodleian.
