Biographical / Historical

Rev. Roger Huggett (c.1711-1769) was the librarian of Eton College, an antiquary and vicar of Hartley Westpall, Hampshire.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

The three manuscripts were bequeathed to the Library by the rev. Roger Huggett, M.A., vicar of Hartley Westpall, Hampshire, and received on Jan. 4, 1770.
