A descriptive 'Index to the Rawlinson copperplates', in alphabetical order of subjects: a series of slips pasted to form a volume. The 750 copperplates described were part of the Rawlinson bequest received in 1756, and chiefly represent British antiquities (old buildings, charters, portraits, seals, arms, inscriptions, and the like). This catalogue is the work of miss E. M. Guest.

The slips from which this index was arranged were written as the rough material for a handlist, also the work of miss Guest, in which the copperplates are divided according to size, and inside each size are arranged in a carefully classified order.
