The following description is in the Annual Report of the Curators of the Bodleian for 1899: A 'Mexican MS. ... a Christian religious work and probably written by a Spaniard in the 17th cent.', consisting of '38 pages in Nahuatl, each adorned with rude coloured borders of flowers, cherubs, and symbols of various kinds.'
