The manuscript of Spelman's work on Knight Service, published at London, 1641. 'Of feuds and tenures by knight service, their originall growth, propagation, condition, generally beyonde the seas, particularly here in England, written by Sir Henry Spelman, knight, in supportation of a passage touching them in his Glossarie. A.D. 1639' (p. xiii), a table of chapters (p. xvij): beg. 'In the great case of tenures uppon the Commission of defective titles' (p. 1).
