David Nichol Smith (1875-1962) was a Scottish literary scholar. Alexander Chalmers (1759-1834) was a Scottish biographer and literary editor. John Payne Collier (1789-1883) was an English literary editor and forger. Thomas Amyot (1775-1850) was an English lawyer and antiquary.
