Cyclostyled typescript of Nevill Coghill's Adam's Island, A Play, signed and dated by the author, with covering letter. Includes:
- (fol. ii) a letter from Coghill to Mrs Sandford, 23 Apr [1937]
- (fol. iii) inscribed by Coghill to Mr and Mrs Sandford. A note by the donor (2013) reads ‘The Sandfords were parents of Mick Sandford, a student of NC’. Nevill Coghill and Mick Sandford co-edited New Oxford Poetry, 1936 and 1937
- (fol. 18) an envelope addressed to Mrs Sanford by Coghill. The stamps(?) have been cut off

Nevill Henry Kendal Aylmer Coghill (1899 – 1980) was an English literary scholar and fellow of Exeter College, Oxford.
