'Sir Geoffrey le Scrope, (c. 1285-1340)', PhD thesis by E.L.G. Stones, Glasgow University
Biographical / Historical
E.L.G. 'Lionel' Stones was awarded his PhD at Glasgow University in 1950. He went on to be a Professor at the university, retiring in 1978. He died in February 1987.
