Volume, 1855-6, containing water-colours and pencil sketches of Egyptian tomb paintings and objects, views, interiors of tombs and churches, and Christian wall paintings, site plans, and copies of hieroglyphic, hieratic, Greek and Latin inscriptions and papyri, including (fols. 10v-12, 13r-v, 33-34v, 37, 42v-44) material copied from the papers and collections of A.C. Harris, with:
- (fols. 26-31v) lists of hieroglyphic, hieratic, demotic and Coptic letter forms
- (fol. 35) water-colour of a pavement at 'Caesar's camp' in Alexandria.
