- Letter from Celia to her mother Margaret Newbolt, Dec 1910, about turning down Erasmus Darwin's marriage proposal, and how disappointed her friend Nora (Erasmus's sister) was
- Letter from Celia to her mother Margaret, Aug 1925, forwarding Percy Lubbock's to Margaret which Celia has opened and commented on (it contained an extract from A.C. Benson's diary about Celia in 1911)
