Letters to G.H.Dashwood and his wife from members of the Brinckman family, 1831-50, n.d.
Sir Theodore Brinckman was Mrs. Dashwood's brother who changed the name from Broadhead to Brinckman. Many letters concern the affairs of Fanny Broadhead/Brinckman, who was mentally deranged, and the West Wycombe rectory affair (see MS. D.D. Dashwood Bucks G.3/19). Comprises, eleven letters from Sir Theodore, 1845-50; two from Godolphin Brinckman, his first wife, 1831; five from Annabella, his second wife, n.d.; eleven from Bingley Brinckman, n.d. (see also MS. D.D. Dashwood Bucks G.3/34).
