Folder 1: Correspondence of Helen de Freitas relating to Sir Geoffrey de Freitas's book. Comprises comments on the draft manuscript, requests to use quotes, letters with publishers regarding possible publication and draft chapter headings, 1983-1984.

Folder 2: Obituaries and memorial addresses for Geoffrey de Freitas with related papers. Includes addresses by Frank Thistlethwaite and Eugene V. Rostow at services held at Clare College, Cambridge (16 Oct 1982) and St. Margaret's Church, Westminster (20 Oct 1982). There are also four photographs of Geoffrey de Freitas, 1982-1983, and four letters from 1979 sent to him following his retirement as MP for Kettering, 1934-1982.
