- (fol. 94) a few typescript and manuscript notes of Margot Asquith for her Autobiography
- (fol. 123) a paper-covered notebook containing diary extracts, 29 Dec. 1915-1918 May 1916 and (reversing the volume) 19 May-8 Nov. 1916. Written in pencil and perhaps a copy made by the original compiler for J.A.Spender and Cyril Asquith (see concluding remark in volume). Accompanying it (fol. 122) is a letter from Roy Jenkins indentifying the diarist as Lady Edith Agnes Kathleen Scott (later Lady Kennet)
- (fol. 137) letter to Vivian Phillips from A.Tilney Bassett, 1929, offering his services in connection with the projected biography of Asquith, with copy of stock letter presumably used in reply
