Clifden and Letterfrack Stations, 1904-22

Clifden Station on the west coast of Ireland was set up to deal with commercial transatlantic wireless traffic: see MarconiCalling. As in the Canadian counterpart stations, a separate receiving station was later built at Letterfrack and Clifden became a transmitting station only.
