Autograph album belonging to Eleanora Reay, wife of Stephen Reay, 1785-1839
Contains autographs of family, friends and acquaintances, cut from correspondence. In some cases, part or all of the original letter has been retained. The letters are mostly replies to invitations, although there are a few letters to Mr Reay, relating to his work at the Bodleian Library. Includes some notes written by Mrs Reay about the correspondents, and (fols. 158, 160 and 240) silhouette portraits.
