The person (C. M. de Veil, as appears from the endorsement) whom the Bishop patronizes is one always well-spoken of, and esteemed for his learning and good manners; his wife, who is anxious to cross the sea to join him, is a person of great wisdom and very good family; need of caution in receiving converts.
