The Dean has been prosecuted for simony by Dr. Todd; it is now likely to come to a composition.

Subjoined (fol. 7) is a letter from John Newarke, at Trin. College, 31 Jul; Mr. Tovey, who is to be found at Sir John Harrington's lodging in the Prince's Court, will be able to tell him many things that he may enquire for.

The preceding letters have been preserved by Usher in consequence of their being covered with closely-written notes by him.
