  • Printed in Latin, with an introduction and considerable variations, pp. 179–225 of Ripley's Opera , in octavo. Cassellis, 1649. The chapters as given in this edition stand in the following order in the MS: chap.xi., part of xiii., x., xvii., part of xviii., xv., part of xvi., part of iii., v., vi., vii., viii. Various other receipts and experiments are added. At the end is the following colophon: "When thou shalte se towe knytte in one / Of thynges ryght fare asundere, / And that by nature yt be done, / Wilt thowe then cease to wondere. / 1470. / Ista non sunt opinata, / Sed vera atque probata; / Quoth sir Geo. Ripley, the good chanonne of Brydlyngton."
