There is abundant internal evidence to show that the letter proceeds from sir John Harington: inter alia, while the family name is mentioned at p, 23, the Latin verses on "Farewell to his muse," which are printed in Park's edit. of his Nugæ Antiquæ, vol. i. p. 332, are given at p. 13.
