Prefixed to the extracts from the rolls are the two following tracts:

  1. (fol. 8) "The antiquity of parliaments in England;" [by sir John Doddridge.]
  2. (fols. 11, 15b) "Here followeth the forme and manner of kepinge of the parlament of Ynglande;" with a similar tract in Latin, being a version slightly varying from that contained in fol. 2 of this volume.
