Extracts are given from Jewel's Apology, Bishop Hall's Sermons and Contemplations, "out of a sermon [on Luke xvi. 2] preached in the yeere 1388 at P[aul's] C[ross]," (p. 66), Withers' Abuses, Bishop Cowper's Holy Alphabet, Raleigh's History of the World, and Adams' Sermons.

On fol. 120b are "Notes of a sermon delivered by one Mr. Hayes of Magdalen Hall in Oxford, before the king's judge being immediatly therefter to sit in the place of judgment, delivered in St. Mary Church, on Ester i. 15."

An index of matters is added at the end.

On various leaves, originally left blank, have been inserted by a Non-juror some extracts from pamphlets printed after 1700, as follow:

  1. (fol. 60) Out of the Catechism of Christian Communion.
  2. (fol. 61) Out of a dialogue between D. and C. in opposition to Dodwell's Case in View now in Fact.
  3. (fol. 98b, vol. reversed) Further notes against Dodwell.
  4. (fol. 95b, vol. reversed) Notes out of an answer to Bothmar's Memorial.
