George Smith, a bishop among the Non-jurors, of three letters written by him in 1725 to Rev Thomas Browne, B.D., ejected fellow of St. John's College, Cambridge, in vindication of the withdrawal by the former of his brother-in-law, T. B[edford, son of Bishop Hilkiah Bedford], from that college to avoid his attendance upon prayers regarded by the Nonjurors as schismatical, 18th century
