Prefixed is a list of village crosses; and at the end are collections by Rawlinson for lists of incumbents, together with some amusing notes, in the handwriting of the writer of the rest of the volume, on the character of various parochial clergy in the county, and the reception given by them to those who visited their parishes for the purpose of collecting these contributions towards an intended county history. The notes were made in the course of a journey taken (in company with Edmund Curll) in Jul and Aug 1718.

At fol. 83b are notices of a few errata in Plot's History.
