For the counties of Lincoln (fol. 2) Northampton (fol. 76) and Suffolk (fol. 130), during the reigns of Q. Elizabeth and James I; chiefly with regard to the writs of "quo titulo tenet," and "quare maneria, etc. in manus Regis capi et seisiri non debent."

Prefixed to the volume is a table for calculating the divisions of a knight's fee, ("rata feodorum militum,") down to its hundredth part. And at the end (fol. 174) is an abstract from the "Originalia" of very numerous grants made to sir John Spencer, alderman of London, in the time of Q. Eliz., of lands, etc. in Somerset, Sussex, Middlesex, Essex, etc.
