Custodial History

On a fly-leaf at the end is the following note, added by the writer's son: "My father wrote this diary of his when he was in his travels; the 26. of August, 1726, Geo. Stonhouse. This book was given me by Mr. Pretty, at the desire of his mother who had it in her custody; she was my granmother Stonhouse's housekeeper, and woman to her. I got it mended by the bookbinder."
