Particulars of crown lands, messuages, rents, etc. (for the most part formerly belonging to religious houses), in the hands of the contractors for crown lands, with entries of surrenders to the King, and of sales made by them chiefly in the years 1609–1611, with a few later entries to the year 1618, bulk: temp. A list of a few of the monasteries, in the handwriting of Dr. Rawlinson, is inserted in the volume; and an index of the counties in which the various possessions lie, has been noted on a flyleaf.
