An exact table to all the printed presidents of pleadings, writs and returns of writs, etc., which are only contained in the books of reports now extant, methodically digested, necessary for all pleaders and practisers of the law. By John Allen, of the Inner Temple, gent., and clerk of the errors to Thomas, earl of Macclesfield, whilst his lordship was chief justice of England.
"31 July, 1727. Transcribed from the original by, and for the use of, Edw. Umfreville, of the Inner Temple, esq. From which transcript this copy is made by Wm. Harford, my clerk, for me, Oliver Acton of the Inner Temple, London; Bridewell Hospital, 1744."
At the end is written, "Copied per O.A. Aug. 1746. Examinatur cum orig. 24 Oct. 1746. ♀. O. A."
