A table of contents is prefixed; the first entry in which, "An account of the auncient rents in the soake of Somersham at Mich. 1690," does not now appear in the volume.

Two leaves have been torn out after fol. 89, containing, as it appears from the table of contents at the beginning, "Directions for a young beginner in the study of the law," which were printed in Anth. Hammond's Hints for Thinking, 8vo. Lond. 1721.

Several leaves have been torn out after fol. 103, which contained, as appears from the table of contents, "A list of writeings in the lower part of the scrittore and on other shelves in the clossett, concerning Mr. Hammond's estate."
