State Papers of John Thurloe, secretary of state to Oliver and Richard Cromwell; vol. lxviii.

This volume contains transcripts and translations (prepared for the press) of the greater part of those papers in the preceding volumes which were not printed in Birch's Collection, as well as many of the others.

At the commencement is the following note in the handwriting of Dr. Rawlinson: "These six volumes [MSS. Rawl. A. 68-73] of State Papers were copied for the press, but the Editors finding the work swell to so great a bulk omitted them in the impression, as they did many more preserved in the sixty-seven volumes in manuscript.
