This is a very interesting exposition by Strachey on the potential uses of computers, the importance of software vs. hardware, and the intellectual revolution brought about by the advent of computers.
  3. Folder contains copies of papers presented by others (H.G. Ap Simon, D.W. Hooper, E.C. Clear Hill, W.G. Bickley, J. Crank, B.S. Walker, S. Gill, F.S. Ellis, M.M. Barritt).
