McCloskey and McIntyre posters: In 1984 Republican McIntyre gained 34 more votes than McCloskey. The Democratic House recounted the votes, and declared McCloskey the winner. These two posters were produced by the Democratic and Republican Congressional leaderships for circulation within the Congressional office buildings. McCloskey held the seat until 1994.
