Biographical / Historical

The Conservative History Group, founded in 2002, hosts events for members interested in the history of the Party, and publishes the Conservative History Journal annually in the autumn. The Journal was first published in 2003. The editorial to Vol ii, Issue 1 states: 'The Conservative History Group enters its second decade with a spring in its step. Established by Iain Dale in 2002, it has published ten editions of the Conservative History Journal - edited variously by Iain Dale, John Barnes, Helen Szamuley and Nigel Fletcher.'
