Biographical / Historical
International Bulletin was a quarterly bulletin published by the Conservative Central Office giving information on the Conservative Party's activities abroad. The introduction to the first issue states: 'For some time it has been apparent that while the Party's activities at home receive a lot of coverage, little is known of what we do at an international level. Today, however, not only is there an important Community dimension through the work of Conservative Members in the European Parliament, but the Party - and many of its individual constituent parts - is also developing close relations with a number of friendly parties and organisations in the rest of Europe and beyond. We believe that these activities and others are of sufficient interest and potential importance to be publicised more widely, and we are therefore inaugurating The International Bulletin to carry news of them. We shall also include commentary on foreign affairs issues, and on significant Party Publications in the international field. The International Bulletin will be published quarterly, and we hope that you will find it a useful supplement to your Party reading.'
