A Monthly Survey of Foreign Affairs was a joint publication of the Conservative Overseas Bureau and the Conservative Research Department. It commenced publication in Aug 1948 continued until 1965, at which time it was merged with A Monthly Survey of Commonwealth Affairs to become Commonwealth and Overseas Review.

It was was produced monthly, with a combined Aug/Sep issue each year. Holdings in the CPA are incomplete and cover Aug 1948-Dec 1950 (issues nos. 1-28) and Apr 1960-Jul 1965 (issue nos. 129, 131-141, 143-148, 150-156, 158-185) only.
