Letter-books, account books and papers of Nicholas Linwood (d. 2 May 1773), supplier of provisions and pay to the garrison of Minorca, 1763-73, and accounts of his wife Jane. These papers probably came into the possession of the Strong family in 1786, when C. S. Strong was executor of the estate of Jane Linwood.
