Papers and correspondence of C. G. Woide (1725-90), including notes and drafts of works on the Coptic and Sahidic languages with transcripts and collations. The collection includes several volumes in the hands of earlier and contemporary Coptic scholars, M. Veyssière de Lacroze (1661-1739), P. E. Jablonski (1693-1757), Christian Scholtz (d. 1777) and Andreas Birch (1758-1829), evidently used by Woide, and nearly all bearing a printed label 'WOIDE'.
