Historical notes and papers relating to churches and parishes in Oxfordshire, Written in the 18th and 19th century
Historical notes and papers relating to churches and parishes in Oxfordshire, in alphabetical order. The collection was apparently formed early in the 19th century, but there are older and more recent papers. 'D. T. Powell's' MSS. are one source, and there are many extracts from Wood's MSS. and printed histories, with some drawings. The later papers appear to be by the rev. C. F. Wyatt:
- Fols. 1-32 are a set of church notes, of about 1805
- An account of Oseney abbey is at fols. 143, 146
- The amount of original matter in this and the following volume is considerable, chiefly in the way of architectural and heraldic drawings
