Papers relating to the building of the New Museum, 1856-63. A letter at fol. 50 dated Oct. 11, 1878, shows that they belonged to Dr. Frederick Charles Plumptre and were on that date handed over to the Curators of the University Chest. It is not certain at what time they came to the Bodleian: see also no. 30099.
