A collection of minor printed and manuscript papers relating to the University of Cambridge chiefly of about 1730-80. Among the latter class are:

  1. Copies of University accounts between 1737 and 1770
  2. A list of Askew's books with manuscript notes bought by the University (1774?)
  3. Copy of a paper by dr. Charles Ashton, master of Jesus college, about the lay element in colleges, Jan. 1709
  4. Copy of (Fleetwood?), Churchill's letter to W. Collier about an examination for the Hebrew professorship, 1771
  5. 'Against cautionary graces for exercises, by dr. [John] Colbatch', etc.
