A quaternion and three separate leaves, Written about the 12th century (?) in Ireland
A quaternion and three separate leaves (fols. 3-13) of a Latin and Irish surgical treatise, written in Irish, pointed minuscules, imperfect at beginning and end. The first opening of a chapter is on fol. 4 'Contusio uel conquassacio neruorum aut fit', then an Irish translation or paraphrase follows, and so with each Latin clause, but the Irish appears to predominate in quantity. The last opening of a chapter is on fol. 12v 'Obtalmia id est pasio oculorum uel proprium aposte'.
