'par damp Guillaume prieur de Chaaliz', a prose paraphrase of the original poem which was composed by Guillaume de Deguileville in about A.D. 1332: being the second part of the Trois Pelerinages. The present paraphrase is by 'Jehan Galloppez', who prefixes a dedication to John, duke of Bedford, regent of France, and a prologue to the work.
