Typescript draft with manuscript revisions, with 2pp manuscript tables of results, inscribed '?Article for Discovery' on first page.

The material was found together. Some of the pages probably relate to Nicholson's letter on bird migration published in Discovery, Vol. VIII, No.94, Oct 1927. One page is titled 'The Mystery of Bird Migration'; another is dated 1927. A few pages of rough manuscript notes are included.

The material from these years probably relates to Nicholson's 1932 British Ornithological Club paper. The 1985 correspondence is with R.S.R. Fitter. Included is a short typescript by Nicholson, possibly published, titled 'Marsh and Willow Tits in the Border Area' (1935 or later).
