Postcards of West Africa.
Biographical / Historical
The postcards were collected by Harry Martin who worked for the trading firm F. and A. Swanzy in the Gold Coast in the early 20th century. A few of the postcards were posted and are addressed to H.S. Rosenthal, an agent of F. and A. Swanzy.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Donated to the Bodleian Library by Martin Martin, son of Harry Martin, in 1967.
