Biographical / Historical

Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) was a composer. See the Oxford Music Online for further details. Emily Anderson (1891-1962) was an editor and translator. She served at the Foreign Office between 1923 and 1951. See the Oxford Music Online and Who's Who for further details.
