A pedigree from William the Conqueror to Edward III, and thence chiefly through female lines and the families of Bourchier (15th cent.), Stanhope and Seymour (16th cent.), Knightley (16th-17th cent.), Holled (17th cent.), and Smith of Leire (18th cent.) to the family of the Rev. Richard Coxe (d. 1819) and his descendants, among whom was the Rev. Henry Octavius Coxe, librarian of the Bodleian (d. 1881).
